Kathmandu. According to the Ministry of Finance, the country’s economic growth is projected to expand by 3.5 percent in the current fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the ministry, Nepal’s economic growth has been very slow compared to the expansion of the economy of neighboring countries.
The Ministry argues that Nepal’s economic growth is comparatively low and unstable. The annual average growth rate over the past decade has been 4.2 percent.
During this period, Nepal’s economy has expanded from a minimum contraction of 2.4 percent to a maximum of 9 percent. In the fiscal year 2081÷82, the economy expanded by 4.61 percent.
