Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Thursday. The stock market, which closed higher on the previous trading day, closed today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 12.36 points to close at 2,742.11 points.
Despite the fall in the NEPSE index, the transaction volume has increased slightly. Shares worth Rs 3.82 billion were traded on Wednesday and Rs 3.89 billion was traded today.
Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of one sub-group have fallen. The index of the remaining 11 sub-groups decreased. On this day, the index of the mutual fund sub-group has increased modestly.
