Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has written to the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) asking it to furnish details of shares of 56 individuals.

Immediately after the bureau sent the letter on May 24, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has started seeking details from stakeholders including NEPSE and CDSC.

The bureau has also asked the government to furnish details related to the investments of 56 more persons in the securities market in course of investigation against defendant Deepak Bhatta under the Securities Act, 2063. It has also directed to stop such investments.

The letter sent by the bureau to Sebon also includes high-ranking people from various companies. They are the Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Reinsurance, Directors of Merchant Bankers and Directors of Micro Insurance.

Upasana Poudel, CEO of Himalayan Re-Insurance, Siddhanta Jhunjhunwala, promoter of the company, Latika Golyan, director of the same company, Badri Sidel and Prabina Dahal are among those who have asked for details of the company. Dahal is also the chairman of the Investment Committee. Likewise, Sujal Malla is also a member of the Investment Committee.

Similarly, Amit Mor, Rajiv Mor, Subhash Kumar Jhunjhunwala, Subhash Kumar Jhunjhunwala, Subekshya Kharel and Himalaya Insurance Company have also been promoted. Manish Kumar, director of Himalayan Security Banker Sitaram Wagle and Akanksha Gupta are members of the investment committee of Himalayan Re-Insurance.

Similarly, Mr. Sishir Gaire, Chairman of Capserv, Mr. Kapil Kumar Dahal, Chairman of Himalayan Investment Banker, Mr. Binu Ghimire, Director, Mr. Narayan Kumar Adhikari, Mr. Utsav Pradhananga and Board Member of Board Mr. Rajan Prasad Adhikari have also been improvized. Mr. Bidur Puri, Director of Crest Micro Insurance and Mr. Subhash Poudel, Mr. Shalini Sanghai, and Mr. Pratik Joshi are the investment members of Himalayan Investment Bank. Similarly, Director of Guardian Micro Life Insurance Company, Dr. Jaya Prakash Jaiswal, Uddhav Narayan Bhattarai, Pramod Prasad Bhattarai, Jyoti Agrawal and Nawaraj Mudbhari are the members of the committee.

Similarly, CEO of Guardian Life Insurance Chirayu Bhandari, Investment Committee members Jyoti Prakash Pandey and Samir Kharel, Chairman of Protective Micro Insurance Kirtika Agrawal, Board Member and Investment Committee Coordinator Dinesh Sariya, Director of Himalayan Life Insurance Bibek Kumar Shah and Laxman Jhawali were also present on the occasion. Rajiv Prasad Pyakurel, board member of the same company and Gani Committee Coordinator Ashish Dhakal, board member and investment committee coordinator Saurabh Dugad, director Sachin Acharya, Pramila KC and director Digambar Jha are also present.
