Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has claimed that every day 1-2 Nepalis will become millionaires through lottery tickets.

He made the claim at a press conference organized at the Ministry of Finance today to provide further information about the budget for the fiscal year

2083/84.

“The national lottery is coming, every VAT bill is becoming an automatic lottery ticket. Every day we make millionaires. There are 1-2 millionaires every day,” he said, “Those who send remittances will also be included.” ”

He said that the culture of taking Value Added Tax (VAT) bill will be encouraged by creating a culture of ‘pay my bill’. He said that Rs 1,580 billion revenue will be collected by collecting Rs 1 from some and Rs 2 from others. He also said that there is a lot of ambition in revenue.
