Kathmandu. Uttam Vlon Group has opened its account with the Independent Power Producers’ Association (IPPAN).

The panel of senior vice-president Vlon has unanimously elected the deputy general secretary of the party for the upcoming term.

Kabita Pokhrel is the only candidate from Vlon’s panel for the post of deputy general secretary. The Bhlon and Balram Khatiwada groups have formed a panel in the election.

No candidate from Khatiwada’s group has filed applications for the post of deputy general secretary in the election. Pokharel has been elected unopposed to the post of Deputy General Secretary from Vlon’s panel.

However, the election committee has not made any formal announcement.
