Bagmati Province government gives exemption on tax and penalty

. The Bagmati Province government has made a special provision regarding tax and penalty exemption in the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84 in the Bagmati Province Assembly on Monday, Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prabhat Tamang informed about the special provisions related to tax and penalty exemption.TAG_OPEN_div_20

Minister Tamang said that the government has made a provision to completely waive the fine before the fiscal year 2081/82 if the industries and businesses that have not registered a business firm and have not renewed it.TAG_OPEN_div_18

The government has said that if the owners of public vehicles 20 years or older pay the outstanding tax and renewal fee for 20 years by Poush 2083, the vehicle registration will be revoked by giving 100 percent waiver on the penalty amount.TAG_OPEN_div_16

If the ‘Driving Training Center’, ‘Workshop’, and ‘Reconditioning House’ who do not renew the fee for the last period by the end of Poush, 2083, there will be a 100% waiver on the previous renewal fee and fine.TAG_OPEN_div_14

Minister Tamang said that up to TAG_OPEN_div_12 50 per cent discount has been given on land registration fees. Minister Tamang said that the government has decided to give 50 per cent discount on the registration fee of land purchased in the name of hydropower industry, tea, coffee, cotton, floriculture, vegetable farming, livestock, dairy, cardamom farming, medicinal herbs and fruit industry.
