Kathmandu. Pesticides have been found in high quantity in mustard greens brought to the Kalimati fruits and vegetable market. The residues of carbamate and organophosphate were found in the mustard vegetable produced at Madhyapur Thimi of Bhaktapur district today.
Sita Regmi of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality in Bhaktapur district has been found to be producing greens. Organophosphate residues were found to have 80.01 per cent inhibition rate and carbamate residues of 2.5667 per cent.
