Nepal Telecom’s SIM card ‘home delivery’ from July

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom’s SIM card can now be available at home. According to the postal service, the goods including SIM cards and other documents, letters, various spare parts used in the telecommunication service will be transported through the postal service.

Now, if the service recipients of Nepal Telecom want, they will be able to get the SIM card and other materials of the company through postal service. An agreement was signed between Nepal Telecom and Department of Postal Services on Thursday.

As per the agreement, SIM cards and other materials of Nepal Telecom will be transported through the Department of Postal Services from August 1. The agreement was signed by Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom Reena Dangol and Director General of Department of Postal Services Manamaya Bhattarai Pangeni.

Officiating Managing Director Dangol said that Nepal Telecom has been giving priority to providing various services to the service recipients even when they are not present in the company office and this is another important step in that direction.

She believes that the service customers of the company will be benefited from this collaboration between Nepal Telecom and Department of Postal Services. Director General of the Department of Postal Services, Pangeni, said that the Department has been carrying out various works to implement the government’s goal of providing service at the doorstep of the people.
