Nepalgunj. The Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City Assembly has presented a budget of Rs 1.76 billion for the coming fiscal year.
The 19th municipal assembly chaired by Mayor Prashant Bista on Saturday endorsed the proposal related to beautification of Bagishwori temple area, construction of Khadeshwor Junge Mahadev Temple, 108-feet tall Hanuman idol, commercial buildings, entrance gate at Jamunaha checkpoint and city bus park.
The detailed project report (DPR) of the Nepalgunj Ring Road will be completed soon and the implementation process will be initiated.
The budget has given priority to sustainable development of the municipality, increase in revenue income, improvement in service delivery, conservation of lakes and parks, promotion of greenery and effective monitoring of the projects to be operated.
