Taskforce formed to resolve budget problems

{{TAG_OPEN_div_21}Janakpurdham. A taskforce has been formed to resolve the problems related to the budget of the Madhes Province government for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

Speaker Ram Ashish Yadav announced the formation of a taskforce comprising Upendra Mahato, Harinarayan Mahato, Jangilal Raya, Pramod Kumar Yadav, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, Bimala Ansari Tarunma and Sarita Kumari Thakur.TAG_OPEN_div_19 The task force will formulate its own procedures.

Finance Minister Yubaraj Bhattarai presented the Appropriation Bill, 2083 BS in today’s meeting.TAG_OPEN_div_17 Likewise, the meeting endorsed the proposal tabled by the State Assembly member Rabindra Shrestha to suspend the sub-rule (2) and (3) of Madhes Province Assembly Rule 135. With the suspension of both the by-laws, Speaker Yadav removed other topics from today’s agenda.

The next meeting of TAG_OPEN_div_15 the Provincial Assembly has been postponed till July 14 at 1 pm.

Speaker Yadav adjourned the meeting until further notice after the opposition parties—Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Janamat Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party—obstructed the meeting demanding to amend the budget.TAG_OPEN_div_13
