Kathmandu. The Insurance Authority of Nepal (BEE) has urged the insurance companies to file complaints against the insurance companies not paying their claims. The NRA has demanded to file a complaint with necessary details.
The complaint has been filed against the insurer and surveyor in determining the liability of the insurance and paying the claim.
“The Insurance Authority (NEA) has been receiving various complaints that some insurers, employees and surveyors have violated the existing laws, regulatory provisions and professional code of conduct in the course of determining the liability of insurance and paying the claims. This notice has been published to submit a complaint with evidence to all concerned for action as per the Insurance Act, 2079 against the person involved in any act of harassment, preparing false information, concealing or distorting the facts, making a biased assessment, taking undue advantage or any other act against the person involved in such acts.
Complaints: name, address and contact number of the complainant, name of the concerned insurance company, details of the problem, insurance claim number and insurance account number, corroborating documents, photo, video or other evidence will be required while submitting the complaint.
Complaints can be made at the registration section of the Authority, in person or through email, by post.
