Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) has expressed serious concern over the incident of parking suspicious vehicles outside media houses.

. KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expressed serious concern over the suspicious display of unidentified vehicles outside the offices of various media outlets.

“Such activities aimed at putting the media and media persons under psychological pressure are an attack on democratic norms and press freedom,” reads a press release issued by the RSP.TAG_OPEN_div_6 The RSP has made it clear that activities that infringe on press freedom, create an atmosphere of fear in media houses and restrict the fourth estate in any pretext would not be acceptable.

The party has demanded the government, the Ministry of Home Affairs and the concerned security bodies to immediately investigate the incident, identify the culprits, take action as per the law and ensure physical and psychological security of the media houses and media workers.TAG_OPEN_div_4
