Kathmandu. There has been a slight improvement in the stock market. The index, which measures the market, increased by 7.25 points to sit at 2,726.49 points.
A total of 1,49,24,302 units of shares of 343 companies were traded worth Rs 6.67 billion. The prices of 103 companies increased while the prices of 162 companies declined.
The sub-indices of development banks, finance, hotels, life insurance, microfinance and non-life insurance groups decreased. The sub-index of the rest of the group has increased.
