Kathmandu. Police have arrested Mridula Sariya.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and CIB Spokesperson Anupam Shumsher Rana said that he was arrested after the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police found him guilty of the offence as per clause (g) and (i) of Section 140 (1) of the Insurance Act, 2079.

Police arrested 39-year-old Sariya of Bhadrapur VDC-11 from Sano Gaucharan of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-5 on Monday with permission from Kathmandu District Court.

Further investigation into the matter is underway, he added. The loan taken by Sharia from a trust insurance broker has been found to be ineffective.
