Kathmandu. Green Ply Nepal is going to issue Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The company, which is manufacturing ply in Nepal, is going to issue an IPO to the public. For this, it has been converted from a private limited company to a limited company on July 14.
The company is issuing 16,40,000 units of shares i.e. 20% of the issued capital to the general public. The company has called a special general meeting (SGM) for August 5.
In the financial year 2081/82, the company had 18.5 million rupees compared to the previous year. Sales growth of 96 percent was achieved annually by about 47 percent. Rs 5 crore. Green Ply Nepal has been operating on a profit-making basis for the last five years. This is a testimony to the company’s sound financial position and effective management. The company has been exporting plywood from Nepal to India for a long time. More than 30 percent of its production is consumed in Nepal and more than 705 percent of its products are exported to India. The company has also been receiving export subsidy provided by the Government of Nepal for export promotion in the past. The company has been exporting its products to India.
In the fiscal year 2081/82, Greenply Industries Nepal’s capital structure improved significantly, with the overall gearing ratio of the company decreasing from 7.41 times to 2.44 times. The company’s net worth increased from Rs. 82.0 million to approximately Rs. 226 million, with the addition of new share capital of Rs. 60 million and the implementation of Nepal Financial Reporting Standards framework.
