NEPSE CEO selection process begins: Joint Secretary Acharya forms committee

. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has officially appointed its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Ministry of Finance has initiated the process to select a new leadership to the post lying vacant after incumbent CEO Chudamani Chapagain resigned from his post on July 5.

The Ministry has formed a three-member CEO selection committee under the convenorship of Joint Secretary Mahesh Acharya, Chief of the Financial Sector Management Division.TAG_OPEN_div_8 Prakash Jung Thapa, former chairman of the Accountant Standards Board, is an expert member of the committee.

The

committee has completed the process of inviting applications for a new CEO. According to the ministry, the applications will be open from Tuesday for interested and eligible candidates. After the application is collected, the committee will evaluate the qualifications, experience and action plan and prepare the shortlist. After that, the name of the eligible candidates will be recommended after completing the interview and other stages.
