Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: National Cooperative Bank (NCB) has released its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.
During the period, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 49,24,46,021. The bank had posted a negative net profit of Rs 69,21,878 in the same period of the previous FY.
As of mid-July of the last FY, the bank’s net interest income stood at Rs 87.16 crore. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 1,000 crore in the same period last year.
Similarly, the bank’s net operating income stood at Rs 76.76 crore. In the same period of the previous year, it was Rs 1.35 billion.
Similarly, the bank’s operating profit stood at Rs 65.60 crore in the same period last year as against Rs 6.07 lakh in the corresponding period of the previous FY.
The capital adequacy ratio of the bank stood at 11.66 percent as of mid-July last year. It was 0.82 percent in the same period of the previous year. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set a minimum of 8 percent of the GDP.
The non-performing loan of the bank stood at 32.26 percent at the end of the last fiscal year. It was 30.56 percent in the same period last year.
The bank has a paid-up capital of Rs 2.93 billion and reserve fund of Rs 3.45 billion.
