Kathmandu. Prabhu Mahalaxmi Life Insurance Company (BILIC) has announced its unaudited financial results for the end of the last fiscal year.
During the period, the company’s net profit increased by 1.31 percent to Rs 37.55 crore. In the same period of the previous year, it was Rs 37.07 crore.
During the review period, the insurance company’s net insurance premium increased by 20.97 percent to Rs 6.26 billion. Similarly, the total income increased by 13.63 percent to Rs 7.51 billion.
The company’s total claim payment increased by 14.21 percent to Rs 5.52 billion. Similarly, the expenditure increased by 14.36 percent to Rs 7.14 billion.
The company has EPS of Rs 7.08 and net worth per share of Rs 116.58. Similarly, the price-to-earnings ratio is 61.20 times.
The insurance company has paid-up capital of Rs 5.30 billion and Rs 1,93,52,000 in share premium, Rs 14.85 crore in disaster fund and Rs 42.82 crore in retained earnings.
