Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The ministers have signed performance agreement with Prime Minister Walendra Shah regarding the major works to be carried out in the current fiscal year and the achievements to be made.
At a programme organised at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar today, the ministers signed the performance agreement with the Prime Minister and exchanged copies of the agreement.
It is stated that the government’s priorities include works related to good governance, social justice and prosperity. The ministers have expressed commitment to carry out major works and expected achievements and their implementation in the current fiscal year.
The agreement is expected to help make the Ministry’s work more responsible, result-oriented and effective. Such an agreement will also be important to evaluate whether the works are being carried out as per the priorities and targets set by the government.
Meanwhile, Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal Govinda Bahadur Karki also signed the performance agreement with PM Shah today itself. The meeting further clarified the responsibility of effectively implementing the administrative works and priorities of the government through the agreement with the Chief Secretary.
The government has set a target to achieve good governance, social justice and economic prosperity by moving ahead with the goals set through the performance agreement.
