Kathmandu. There has been a slight improvement in the stock market.

The index that measures the market increased by 7.17 points to sit at 2,629.40 points. Share prices of 132 companies increased while the prices of 132 companies declined.

A total of 95,766 units of shares of 345 companies were traded at Rs 4.40 billion on Thursday.

Banking, liquidity, investment, life insurance, production and processing and other sub-indices increased while the sub-indices of the remaining sub-indices decreased.

The share price of Mount Everest Power and Sarvotta Paints Company hit the positive circuit in the trading session.
