Kathmandu. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, both the stock market and the trading volume decreased. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 10.67 points to close at 2,618.72 points.

Along with the stock market, the trading volume has also decreased. Shares worth Rs 4.40 billion were traded on Thursday and Rs 4.16 billion were traded in the market today.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of 1 sub-groups have increased while the indices of 12 sub-groups have decreased. On this day, the indices of the mutual fund sub-group increased marginally. The index of other sub-groups decreased the most by 1.06 percent on the day.

Today, shares of Sarvottam Paints are trading at a positive circuit level. The company’s share price rose by Rs 104 to Rs 797.60 today. Likewise, the share price of Panchakanya Mai Hydropower Ltd has increased by 14 percent today.

Reliance Spinning Mills topped the list on the basis of turnover volume on the day. The company’s shares worth Rs 26.37 crore were traded today.
