Investors lost Rs 600 billion in capital market since formation of government: Lawmaker Sangraula

Kathmandu. Lawmaker Ambika Devi Sangraula said that Rs 600 billion has sunk in the capital market since the formation of this government. She said this in a meeting of the House of Representatives today.

“After the formation of the government, Rs 600 billion has sunk in the capital market. Despite so many problems, the Finance Minister is busy playing lottery,” she questioned.

She claimed that the budget for the current fiscal year has failed. “The fact that businessmen are reluctant to take loan and invest despite having sufficient liquidity in the banking system indicates mistrust towards the government’s economic policy,” she said. ”
