Bhotekoshi floods: 17 people undergoing treatment at Trauma Centre

Kathmandu. As many as 43 people injured in the Bhotekoshi floods in Rasuwa district were rescued and brought to Kathmandu National Trauma Center on Wednesday morning.

According to Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Thapa and spokesperson of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, 17 injured are currently undergoing treatment at the National Trauma Center. One person has been referred to Bir Hospital for further treatment. Mahesh Dangol of Bidur Municipality-10, Nuwakot died a few days ago while undergoing treatment, police said.TAG_OPEN_div_10

Meanwhile, Nepal Police has set up a citizen help desk at Bir Hospital and National Trauma Centre to provide necessary information to the relatives of those injured or out of contact in the Bhotekoshi floods.TAG_OPEN_div_8

} People are coming to the help desk to inquire about the health condition of the injured and to note down the details of the incommunicado relatives, police said. Relatives who have reached the hospital are enquiring about the health condition of their family members.
