Krishnabhir landslide: LP gas to be supplied through alternative route until road is restored

An alternative arrangement has been made for the supply of LP gas in the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding districts after the road was blocked at Krishnabhir section of the Prithvi Highway under Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-7 in Dhading due to the massive flood in the Trishuli River.

According to the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC), the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has made arrangements to supply LP gas through alternative route after discussing with the LP Gas industrialists due to the problem in transportation due to road erosion.TAG_OPEN_div_18

According to the NOC, the LPG industries that have been selling and distributing LP gas in Kathmandu and surrounding districts have coordinated with the LPG industries in Bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Nawalparasi and other districts to empty their bullets and refill cylinders from there.TAG_OPEN_div_16

According to the NOC, the refilled LP gas cylinders will be supplied to Kathmandu Valley and surrounding districts through alternative roads until the Krishna Bhir road is brought into operation.TAG_OPEN_div_14

Likewise, arrangements have been made to bring tankers and trucks to Kathmandu through alternative route in coordination with the local administration to facilitate the supply of petroleum products and LP gas.TAG_OPEN_div_12

According to the NOC, efforts have been made to continue the supply of petroleum products and LP gas through alternative routes and industries of other districts so as to prevent the supply of petroleum products and LP gas from being affected due to road disruption.TAG_OPEN_div_10
