Kathmandu. Three organizations related to the energy sector have provided a total of Rs 2.12 crore to the government for the rehabilitation and relief of the flood-affected areas.
Electricity Regulatory Commission (ERC) provided Rs 10 million, Hydro Electricity Development Company Limited (HIDCL) Rs 10.1 million and Green Ventures Limited contributed Rs 1.1 million to the project.
The cheque was handed over to Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha by Chairperson of Electricity Regulatory Commission Ram Prasad Dhital and Chief Executive Officer of concerned company on Wednesday.
