Kathmandu. Sanjay Shah, who was trapped inside the tunnel of the Trishuli-3A Hydropower Project after the floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa district, has been rescued safely.
Sah, who was rescued on Friday morning, said he was trapped inside when he asked his friends to run outside after learning about the floods.
According to him, there were 40 to 45 people inside when the floods occurred.
“At other times, there were only 4, 5, 6 people. At this time, there were 40, 45 people. When I was in the control room, my responsibility was to save everyone’s life,” he said, “And after such an accident, I did not run alone, I had to save everyone. While trying to save everyone, I told everyone to run away. There was an accident in Thayam. I asked everyone to run away. When I did that, my time passed. In the end, I could not get out, I got caught. ”
He said that there were only 3-4 people inside. According to him, due to the length of the tunnel, other people may have been trapped.
He asked what was the date of the rescue. He said that he was rescued in 9 days and remembered that the accident happened at 10 am on the 10th and he had noted the time at that time.
He said that he was chanting the Mahamantra inside himself.
