Devotees throng Krishna Temple in Patan (Photos)

Lalitpur. Devotees throng the Krishna Temple in Patan, Lalitpur since early this morning.

On the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, devote

es thronged the temple since early morning to offer prayers.

According to Hinduism, in the Dwapar era, Bhadra Krishna Ashtami is considered as Krishna Janmashtami festival. Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the belief that Lord Krishna was born on the day of Bhadra Krishna Ashtami.

According to the scriptures, worship is being performed in the Krishna temple of Patan today. Every year on Janmashtami, there is a crowd of devotees in the Krishna temple. In the previous years, the crowd in the temple was less due to Corona.

There is a queue of devotees in the south and north directions for worshiping in the temple. Separate queues have been arranged for men and women. For the convenience of the devotees in the temple premises, the Mangal Tole Sudhar Committee has made arrangements for health services and water.

Scouts and Lalitpur Metropolitan Police have been mobilized for line management, and Nepal Police is coordinating and facilitating in maintaining peace and security and traffic management.
