NEW YORK. Minister for Foreign Affairs Shishir Khanal and Deputy Secretary of State for US Political Affairs Alison Hooker held bilateral meetings here.

During the meeting, matters relating to Nepal-US relations, post-flood relief and post-flood relief and reconstruction works in the Bhotekoshi River were discussed during the meeting, according to the Nepali Mission in Kathmandu.

On the occasion, Minister Khanal and Deputy Foreign Minister Hooker also talked about America’s continued support in the reconstruction efforts.

Also present on the occasion were Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and Permanent Mission Chief Lok Bahadur Thapa, among other high-ranking officials.
