Lamjung. In view of the risk of floods and landslides, the local administration has banned vehicular movement at night along the Lamjung section of the Besisahar-Chame road.

The District Administration Office (DAO) has decided not to ply vehicles along the road section at night from 7:00 pm today to 6:00 am on September 28.

According to Chief District Officer Krishna Prasad Khanal, the decision has been taken as the risk of floods and landslides may increase due to heavy rains. He also said that the district administration is working on disaster preparedness.
