MoU between Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank and Rotary International District 3292

{{TAG_OPEN_div_18} Kathmandu. Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Limited and Rotary International District 3292-Basic Education and Literacy Committee have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on October 25, 2008 to collaborate in the field of education and literacy.

According to the agreement, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank will provide financial support to various educational and infrastructure development projects to be conducted through Rotary Clubs with the objective of promoting basic education and literacy in community and public schools as a part of its corporate social responsibility.TAG_OPEN_div_16

The bank will support projects that are focused on improving the educational environment of basic education and schools, including construction and improvement of toilets in community and public schools, projects related to drinking water, sanitation and hygiene, and computer labs.TAG_OPEN_div_14

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has been conducting various programs in the field of education, health, environment and social development. The bank believes that this collaboration will contribute to improving the learning environment, hygiene and digital access of students, especially those studying in community and public schools.TAG_OPEN_div_12

As part of its responsibility towards the society, the bank has provided financial support to Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund (PMLF) to support the relief, rescue and rehabilitation of the people affected by the recent devastating flood in Bhotekoshi-Trishuli River.TAG_OPEN_div_10
