Obstruction of Mid-Hill Highway inconveniences people

“The study and inspection of the bridge has been done by the engineers and technicians of the concerned area, and efforts are being made to bring the bridge into operation as soon as possible,” he said. The Mid-Hill Highway, which connects Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi and Mustang of Dhawalagiri area to the national road network, was blocked at several places due to flooding in the Kaligandaki River on Sunday.

} Although the road has been opened one-way in some places, it will take some more time to ease the traffic in the areas that have been badly damaged. The road connecting Maldhunga to Mustang via Beni has also not come into operation.
