Satish Subedi, chief of the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame road project, said that the Dumre-Besisahar-Chame road project has sent separate proposals for both the works to the concerned ministry. According to him, floods and landslides triggered by incessant rains from September 22 to 24 had damaged more than 35 places along the 65-kilometer-long Besisahar-Chame road. Project Chief Subedi said that Ram Bazaar, Khotro of Naso Rural Municipality-3 and Koto of Manang were the most affected places. Wooden bridges at different places were also swept away. The road was blocked for six days due to floods and landslides. New tracks had to be opened in different places to open the road.TAG_OPEN_div_21
