Kathmandu. Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company has declared a dividend.

The meeting of the Board of Directors held on October 9 has declared dividend to the shareholders from the profit of the last FY.

The company has announced a 5 percent bonus share to its shareholders. It has also announced a cash dividend of 0.2632 percent for tax purposes. Similarly, the company has called its tenth annual general meeting for November 3.

The meeting will present proposals including passing dividend and issuance of hundred percent right shares, amending the Memorandum of Association and Regulations, issuing bonds to convert it into ordinary shares and appointing an auditor.

For the purpose of the meeting, the company will close the book for one day on October 26. Shareholders who remain in power till October 24 will receive the dividend.
