Municipality extends support to preserve Linge Ping tradition

Nawalpur. The ward office of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) has decided to provide financial support for the Linge Ping during Dashain.

The office of Gaindakot Municipality-2 of the district has decided to provide financial assistance to all the Tole Development Organizations in the ward for the installation of Linge Ping. The municipality has also requested other wards to provide similar support.TAG_OPEN_div_20

Ward Chairman Prakash Sapkota said that financial assistance is being provided to all 10 Tole Development Organizations in the ward to save the endangered Linge Ping.TAG_OPEN_div_18

} “In order to preserve the art and culture on the occasion of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, we are helping the swing to the Tole Development Organization,” Sapkota said, adding, “We have decided to provide an estimated cost of Rs 5,500 to each tole development organization.” ”

Ward Chair Sapkota said that the Tole Development Organization can take payment from the ward office after paying the bill and compensation after installing Linge Ping in their locality. “Our civilization will be saved if we can preserve our culture and traditions,” he said, “We can be proud that we are Nepalis only if civilization is preserved, so we have decided to provide financial support for the swing.” ”
