Beijing. China has unveiled seven new international standards to promote environmentally friendly energy generation and expansion of inter-country electricity networks.

These standards were announced by the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization at an event held in the capital Beijing. The standards include how to plan energy systems prepared from air, sun and water, how to evaluate sources, how to test and test equipment, and how to extend electricity networks from one country to another.

President of the organization, Shsin Baoan, said that these standards have been prepared on the basis of research and successful practices carried out in various countries, including China. “These parameters will accelerate clean energy development and open new doors for expanding inter-country networks,” he said. ’

Xiao Han, head of China’s market management agency, said the use of the same standards would remove technical barriers, simplify working processes and make energy exchanges more effective.

Malawi’s ambassador to China, Alan Chintedza, said the impact of the standards would be particularly greater in developing countries. “This will reduce the cost of energy expansion, increase the pace of work and help in the development of industries,” he said. Representatives from about 30 countries and institutions and more than 300 energy experts participated in the event.

The Global Energy Interconnected Development and Cooperation Organization is a non-profit international organization established in China, with 1,390 members from 143 countries. The organization is active in various sectors of energy, transport, weather, technology, finance and research.
