Bajura. A person has gone missing and two others were injured when a landslide buried a house at Triveni municipality-9, Tamsu in Bajura district.

The houses of Dharma Thapa, 39, and Karna Bahadur Thapa, 43, were buried by the landslide. According to Police Inspector Naresh Bahadur Shahi of the District Police Office, two persons were injured in the incident.

Triveni municipality-9 ward chair Nanda Thapa said they have been facing difficulties in rescuing the injured and searching for the missing people due to incessant rainfall.

A team of 17 police personnel led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shaileshwari Bohara, who is also the chief of the District Police Office, has headed to the incident site with necessary rescue equipment.
