Kathmandu. Rasuwa: A total of 193 MW power generation has been halted due to floods in Bhotekoshi of Rasuwa district.
Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and its projects have been shut down due to the floods. At the time of publishing this report, 111 MW power generation from Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company, 22 MW from Chilime and 60 MW from Trishuli 3A has been stopped.
Information Officer Naranath Neupane said that the headworks of Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project have been damaged due to the flood. According to him, the power house is safe. He said that 22 employees of the project who were trapped in the flood were rescued some time ago.
The chilime project has suffered some damage due to the floods.
Similarly, the substation of Trishuli 3 ‘B’ has also suffered minor damage.
