Simkot. Mandev Shahi’s zinc sheet-covered grocery shop at Jhapukuna of Sarkegad rural municipality-4 has been gutted in the fire. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Shankar Pokharel, said the fire destroyed grocery stores, stationery, clothes and petrol.
The fire was brought under control with the help of locals and police team of Sarkegad. The exact extent of damage caused by the fire is yet to be ascertained, he said.
