Jumla. Only 67.91 percent of the total budget allocated by the federal government in the last fiscal year 2081/82 bs has been spent for the development of Jumla.

Min Bahadur Gharti Magar, chief of the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Jumla, informed that rs 3.05 billion has been allocated for capital expenditure, out of which Rs 2.08 billion has been spent.

A total budget of Rs 8.63 billion was allocated for the current and capital works for 36 offices under the federal government in the district, including eight local levels.

Of the total budget of Rs 5.59 billion, Rs 5.28 billion or 94.96 per cent has been spent in the current fiscal year.

On the capital side, only Rs 2.08 billion or 67.91 per cent of the allocated budget of Rs 3.05 billion has been spent.

Gharti Magar, chief of the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Jumla, said rs 7.37 billion or 85.23 per cent of the total budget has been spent on current and capital expenditure. According to the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Jumla, rs 1.27 billion of the total budget has been returned without spending the development budget.

Among the budget allocated by the federal government for the development of the district, the budget of Jumla, the most intensive urban and building project, has been frozen a lot. Of the Rs 1.63 billion allocated capital budget to the office, only Rs 903.87 million or 54.64 per cent has been spent.

According to the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Jumla, the budget expenditure of Rs 750 million 269 thousand has been frozen due to lack of capital expenditure of the office. Out of the rs 715.5 million capital budget for the road division office, Rs 563.212 million or 78.72 per cent of the budget has been spent. According to the Office of the Controller of Funds and Accounts, Jumla, rs 154.26 million has been returned without spending on the capital side.
