Kathmandu. Kuthali Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited has published the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the company’s statement, the profit has decreased compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.
At the end of the last fiscal year, the company had earned a net profit of Rs 15.7 million, while at the end of the last fiscal year, it earned a profit of Only Rs 8.938 million. The company’s net profit declined by 43.28 percent in the review period.
The company’s profit has decreased due to the slight decrease in electricity sales income and increase in expenses. During the review period, the company’s electricity sales revenue decreased by 7.80 percent to Rs 31.1 million. Similarly, the company’s total profit declined by 6.03 percent and operating profit decreased by 3.99 percent in the review period. The company’s depreciation expenditure increased by 324.82 percent in the review period.
Along with the profit, the company’s earnings per share have also decreased. During the review period, the company’s earnings decreased by Rs 6.26 to Rs 6.67. At the end of the last financial year, the company’s net worth per share was Rs 136.72 and the price earnings ratio was 286.46 times. The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 134 million and a reserve fund of Rs 49.2 million.
