Api Power’s electricity sales revenue rises 32.24 percent, net worth per share rs 111.7

Kathmandu. Api Power Company Limited has published the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the company’s statement, the revenue from electricity sales has increased compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year.

At the end of the last fiscal year, the company earned Rs 1.65 billion in electricity sales. This is an increase of 32.24 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company had earned Rs 1.24 billion from the sale of electricity.

Although the revenue from electricity sales has increased, the company’s profit has decreased in the review period. The company’s net profit declined by 4.99 percent to Rs 427.6 million in the review period. The company’s net profit has declined due to the decrease in operating profit and increase in financial expenses.

During the review period, the company’s operating profit decreased by 1.93 percent and financial expenses increased by 17.86 percent. Along with the profit, the company’s earnings per share have also decreased. During the review period, the company’s earnings declined by 74 paise to Rs 7.4. As of mid-July, the company’s net worth per share stood at Rs 111.7 and the price-earnings ratio was 42.04 times.

With a paid-up capital of Rs 6.07 billion, the company has rs 672.7 million in other equities.
