The goal is to upgrade the hospital to the country’s largest respiratory treatment center. A detailed study report (DPR) of the hospital has already been prepared for this purpose.

Minister Poudel said the GP Koirala Respiratory Treatment Centre could be made a center of attraction for the people and for this, the support of the three levels of government was needed in this regard. “The hospital, which is under the federal government, also needs the support of the state and local governments,” he said. ”

Minister Poudel said arrangements would be made to teach MDGP doctors in the hospital and at least 700 patients should come to the hospital for this purpose. Stating that the health insurance would be streamlined, he said it was difficult to pay for health insurance due to lack of budget.

On the occasion, Gandaki State Assembly member Jit Prakash Ale said gp Koirala Hospital was not only the pride of Tanahun but also of the nation.

World Health Organization Nepal Chief Dr Rajesh Sambajirab Pandav said that the World Health Organization has been providing significant support to Nepal’s health sector.

The system was practiced at the hospital with the technical support of the World Health Organization (WHO). Dr Ram Kumar Shrestha, executive director of the hospital, said that with the introduction of this system, it would be easier to get information about ticketing, billing, reports, medicines etc. through the online system. “It will now allow you to easily see all the details of the patient from the past to the present,” he said. There is no need to print an X-ray report. It will be easier for doctors to see x-rays and laboratory reports directly. ”

He said that with the introduction of this system, the workload at ticket counters and labs has been greatly reduced. Dr Shrestha said that this system will lead to less errors in the treatment of patients and the time of health workers will be more focused on treatment than paper work, which will help in policy planning and research.

Similarly, 740 ropanis of land at Belchautara of Shuklagandaki Municipality has already been allotted in the name of treatment centre.
