Kathmandu. DHADING: The two-way traffic movement has been obstructed due to a landslide that occurred at Jwangkhola of Benighat Rorang rural municipality-10 in Dhading district. According to the District Police Office, Dhading, the vehicular movement has come to a complete halt due to the landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at 5:55 am on October 2.
The obstruction of the road has hampered movement to Kathmandu-Pokhara and destinations towards the west. Although efforts are underway to open the road by mobilizing dozers to clear the landslide, it is expected that it will take some more time due to the huge amount of soil and stones falling.
Police have urged passengers to use alternative routes and remain vigilant in view of the potential risks.
