Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made it mandatory for casinos to carry out foreign currency transactions. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Friday issued a notice stating that casinos and other institutions are required to obtain a license to transact foreign currency.

According to Clause 3 of the Foreign Exchange (Regulation) Act, 2019, the foreign exchange can be transacted only after obtaining a license from the central bank. According to this provision, the Rastra Bank has made this provision.
