Kathmandu. On September 23 and 24, the New Generation, or Genji, movement took place across the country.

The KP Sharma Oli-led government was toppled in two days and more than 76 people lost their lives in the process.

During the movement, important structures of the country were vandalized and set on fire and the country became stateless.

This movement has changed the face of many places in Kathmandu. The impact of the movement has not only sparked anger on the streets, buildings and public spaces of the city, but also on the walls and walls with a new message.

In the aftermath of the movement, the slogans, graffiti and messages of the protest have taken place on the main street benches, the outer walls of government buildings and the walls of various public places in Kathmandu.

In some places, words expressing anger against the political leaders are seen, while in others, the message of building a new Nepal has been portrayed as a tribute to the martyrs of the movement.

Some of the vulgar slogans written during those days of the movement have not been erased to this day. However, new paintings can now be seen on the walls around the Roads Department and Ratnapark, reflecting the reverence for martyrs and the aspiration for change.
