Kathmandu. The Supreme Court was set on fire today. The Supreme Court and the Office of the Attorney General were torched in Singha Durbar during the agitation.

Important documents in the court were burnt in the fire. The fire could not be extinguished immediately.

Offices of public bodies as well as residences of top leaders have been vandalized and set on fire due to the agitation. Fire broke out in the President’s residence, Singha Durbar and Parliament House today itself.

President Ram Chandra Poudel’s residence at Bohoratar, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s residence at Balkot, Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence at Budhanilkantha were also vandalized and the houses of ministers and lawmakers were set on fire. Minister Bhattarai was rescued from the residence of the Federal Minister and the Province Chief at Bhaisepati of Lalitpur today.
