Information Officer at the District Police Office, Hari Bahadur Basnet, urged people to remain alert as the trend of fraudulent people buying goods from various business groups through social networking sites has increased in the past few days.

Birgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has urged the people to make business transactions only after ascertaining with the authorized persons of the institutions purchasing cement, rods, liquor, motor parts etc.

Chairman of the association, Hari Prasad Gautam, urged the government not to carry out business transactions with reputed industrial houses, industries and business establishments without understanding the authenticity of the buyers.
