Kathmandu. Out of the total insurance claims incurred by the non-life insurance companies for physical and other damages during the Gen-G agitation, about Rs 3.68 billion has been paid so far.

According to the latest data provided by the non-life insurance companies, out of the total claim amount paid by the non-life insurance companies, about Rs 2.92 billion out of Rs 19.04 billion has been claimed and Rs 2,290 claim amount has been paid towards motor insurance.

Similarly, 209 claims under engineering and contract risk insurance have been paid to around Rs 62.3 million out of claim amount, 12 claims have claimed Rs 16.8 million, and 42 claims under other insurance have been paid Rs 3.3 million out of claim amount.
