Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currency for today.
According to the fixed exchange rate, the price of the US dollar has reached an all-time high. The exchange rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 144.30 for buying and Rs 144.90 for selling of one US dollar.
Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 has been fixed at Rs 169.09 and the selling rate of Euro 1 has been fixed at Rs 169.79, the selling rate of UK pound Sterling 1 has been fixed at Rs 193.12 and the selling rate of Swiss Franc 1 has been fixed at Rs 181.18 and the selling rate of 181.93 paise.
The selling rate of one Australian dollar 1 has been fixed at 96.10 rupees and 96.50 paise, the selling rate of one Canadian dollar 1 has been fixed at 104.61 rupees and 105.04 paise.
Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.26 and selling rate was Rs 9.30, the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 20.44 and the selling rate was Rs 20.53.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.54 and selling rate is Rs 4.56, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 39.29 and the selling rate is Rs 39.45, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 35.11 and the selling rate is Rs 35.26. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 15.61 and selling rate of Rs 15.68 and Danish kroner 1 at Rs 22.64 and Rs 22.73 respectively.
The selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 is Rs 18.54 and selling rate is Rs 18.62, the selling rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is Rs 470.40 and the selling rate is Rs 472.36, the selling rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is Rs 382.78 and the selling rate is Rs 384.38. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 160 for buying and Rs 100.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
