Kathmandu. The 12th Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) is organizing its 12th Global Conference and International General Convention from March 14.
A joint press release issued after a press conference organized here today to inform about the preparations for the general convention has been scheduled from March 14 to March 14.
A high-level organizing committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat of the NRNA has already started functioning as the secretariat of the conference to be held under the slogan ‘Our Unity, Basis for Prosperity’.
The Non-Resident Nepali Campaign, which began in 2003 with the slogan ‘Nepali for Nepali’, has been moving ahead with a goal of uniting the Nepalis across the globe.
“It is well known that the historic and comprehensive unification within NRNA was finally achieved on November 30, 2025 in the presence of Prime Minister Sushila Karki in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, addressing the organizational complexities surfaced in the NRNA in a phased manner on the basis of self-review, dialogue and cooperation after the 10th and 11th General Conventions,” reads the statement. This achievement further reinforces the collective commitment of the association towards unity, stability and the journey ahead,” the statement reads.
Preparations for the 12th Non-Resident Nepali Global Conference and the greater international general convention were gradually moving ahead.
